  1. TO ALL BETA TESTERS & FIRST TIME USERS;

  3. RIPCOMM is now released for "PUBLIC" BETA testing, despite having a several
  4. so-called beta testers, MOST have not been much help to me at all. So, if
  5. you (whoever you are) find a bug or display glitch, please let me know so
  6. I can fix it, the sooner I know about it, the sooner it can be fixed.

  8. I'm looking for any problems which you may have come across and any
  9. suggestions on how I could improve RIPcomm.
  10.  
  11. Please use the supplied installer script. Start by doubling clicking
  12. the RIPcomm.install icon.
  13.  
  14. Some known problems, which will be fixed soon;
  15.  
  16.    1. Text printing & Scrolling speed is TOO slow... but I'm working
  17.       on it.
  18.  
  19.    2. The program ignores ALL text variables for now, but they will be
  20.       added later.
  21.  
  22.    3. Flood fills are PAINFULLY slow. I used the Amiga OS fill from the
  23.       graphics library. If anyone knows where I can get fast code to
  24.       replace it, PLEASE let me know... I've had no luck finding source.
  25.       (for any platform, let alone the Amiga).
